Starting Outlook in safe mode, which starts Outlook without add-ins loaded, can tell you if an add-in is the source of the problem. Turn off all the add-ins, close Outlook, and reopen it (not in Safe Mode). If it opens correctly, you can enable the add-ins one by one. After turning on each one, close and reopen Outlook to see if it loads correctly. It will help pinpoint the troublesome add-in you can remove or replace.

It might be that antivirus software is trying to block a function that is repeatedly trying to squeeze through the firewall. There are a number of causes to Outlook not working you can troubleshoot. If you try to send to more than 300 recipients in a single send, you will get an error similar to "This message wasn't delivered to anyone because there are too many recipients. The limit is 300." To install the latest Windows and Office updates, click the link below. Not something you want to take on lightly, but sometimes you have to.
